In Chile, the premium wines appear under the Centauri and Alfa Centauri brands. Recently, the Centauri Sauvignon Blanc 2007 along with first red wines, the Urban Cabernet and the Urban Blend have appeared in the market. The premium red wines Centauri and Alfa Centauri are currently in barrel and will be available in the market in 2009 and 2010. The varieties utilized were Sauvignon Blanc in the white wines, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carignan in the red wines.

Centauri Sauvignon Blanc 2007 has been chosen the Best White Wine of Chile in its first year by one of the three most important guides of the country.
